Attorney Daveta Williams is the founding attorney of DWH Law, P.A., where she focuses her practice on criminal defense and estate planning. Through her signature Law & Legacy approach, she is committed to protecting clients in their most critical moments, whether that means defending their rights today or helping them secure their family’s future for tomorrow.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Attorney Williams relocated to Tallahassee in 2010 to pursue her education at Florida State University. She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology, laying the groundwork for her deep understanding of both the legal system and the individuals it impacts.

In 2014, she moved to the Orlando area to attend the Florida A&M University College of Law. During her time at FAMU Law, she became an active member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and served as Community Service Chair, furthering her passion for advocacy, service, and leadership.

Attorney Williams has dedicated her career to standing up for those facing adversity. She gained foundational litigation experience through internships in personal injury, juvenile law, and criminal law, and later served as an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. There, she honed her skills investigating cases, analyzing complex legal issues, arguing motions, conducting depositions, and litigating juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony matters.

With eight years of practical experience in criminal defense, insurance defense, and bodily injury law, Attorney Williams brings sharp litigation skills, a well-rounded perspective, and a deep commitment to justice. Today, she combines her trial experience with a forward-looking focus on estate planning, helping individuals and families create intentional plans that protect their assets, secure their legacy, and provide long-term peace of mind.

Across every area of her practice, Attorney Williams remains guided by one mission: to advocate fiercely, counsel compassionately, and ensure her clients are protected, both now and for generations to come.
